


UPDATE: On September 8, 2011, City Council adopted the proposed amendments.
The first round of proposed amendments to the City's Land Development Regulations (LDRs) are available for public review. These amendments are designed to streamline development review processes, and include sections clarifying the roles of administrative and decision-making bodies, allowing administrative review for certain types of plats, and consolidating review procedures in one place. This phase of amendments does not include changes to zoning district standards or regulations affecting properties in historic districts.
The Planning Commission will hold two public hearings on the amendments to allow interested citizens opportunities to address questionsa and concerns. Hearings are scheduled for Tuesday, August 23, 2011 and Tuesday, August 30, 2011. A preliminary staff report was submitted to Planning Commission members along with the proposed amendments. City Council will review the proposed amendments at a public hearing on September 8, 2011.
